I am a passionate software developer with a keen interest in functional programming. I grew up with Java and moved to Scala in early 2012: since then, Scala is the language I feel most comfortable with.
Three books dominate my bookshelf: “Functional Programming in Scala”, “The Joy of Clojure” and “Learn You a Haskell for a Great Good”, and I often find myself picking one of them from the bookshelf to read a chapter (or two).
My tools of the trade proudly include: Vim, Tmux, and Fish Shell.
When I’m not working or studying, you are likely to spot me either jogging in (or around) Amsterdam, or taking black and white photos around the city center with my Nikon FE2.
